Clare Cheng is a cross-border branding and market entry strategist, known for building brands and unlocking growth between Asia and global markets. operates the intersection of brand, culture, and market entry, advising companies on how to establish meaningful presence across Asia. 


Her work is defined by precision and discretion—shaping brands not only to enter new markets, but to resonate within them. Across luxury, lifestyle, and innovation sectors, she brings a considered approach where strategy, narrative, and experience align.


Clare’s career began in New York, followed by Ogilvy in Taipei, before leading brand and marketing functions for international media and consumer brands including Tower Records and Hachette Filipacchi Médias.


She later founded 4inOne in 2006, working closely with global brands and institutions entering the China and broader Asia markets. Her work extends into emerging technologies through ClareKnows, an AI-led marketing venture.


Clare is a published author and contributor to The Economist, and has been recognized across Asia for her contribution to branding and marketing.


Having studied in Boston, worked in New York, Taipei, and Shanghai, she brings a nuanced understanding of markets where culture defines success.
